From childhood, I always knew I wanted to be a dentist because of how kind and gentle my family dentist was.
But when I graduated from dental school, I was disillusioned with how poor the options were for someone missing or losing their teeth.
Thankfully, I had the opportunity to be exposed to the leading pioneer in dental implants during my residency. Dental implants became my passion, and I dedicated my career to helping people refresh and restore their smiles.
Over the years and with the help of many leaders in the field, I’ve been able to gain the skills, expertise, and experience to personally offer our patients a huge menu of transformative implant solutions.

With a genuine love for people, Dr. Howard is always focused on building relationships and delivering results that match the goals of each patient. He is especially dedicated to caring for people with dental phobias and providing a full range of complex implant surgery and restorations. As an example of his cutting-edge leadership, he was one of the first dental surgeons in Colorado to offer guided 3D surgery and Teeth In A Day. He has also been providing IV sedation and advanced surgical procedures in Northern Colorado at the highest level for over three decades.

Dr. Howard has traveled to Haiti, Mexico, and Malawi, Africa to provide volunteer dental care for some of the most impoverished people in the world. Closer to home, he offers donated dental care through local non-profits like Dental Lifeline which serves the underprivileged and disabled in the community. In recognition of his service, he received the Outstanding Service Award for Colorado Donated Dental Services in 2017.

He loves spending time with his wife, Pam. (She is passionately involved with local public schools, including serving for two terms on the Thompson School District Board of Education as Vice President. She is also dedicated to volunteering with local non-profit organizations.) They have three grown daughters who have found their passions and careers.
Dr. Howard also enjoys outdoor recreational opportunities including rock climbing, soccer, and running ultra-marathons in the mountains.
Our
Stefanie loves seeing how a smile transformation can improve a patient’s life and self-confidence. She’s been with our practice since 2006, has dental assisting certification, and has completed multiple courses on dental implants and cosmetic dentistry.
From start to finish, Stefanie is at the side of our dental implant patients. She presents treatment options and helps a patient determine what financial options work for them. She then assists Dr. Howard with the surgical procedure and provides follow-up care.
Stefanie and her husband, Jared, have two dogs they consider their children. The family enjoys boating at Horsetooth Reservoir, as well as playing softball, kickball, and other outdoor activities. Winter finds them traveling to escape the cold.
Sara enjoys working with our patients on their way to improved oral health and more becoming smiles. She has been with our practice since 2001 and is X-ray and OSHA certified.
Working in the clinic, Sara assists Dr. Howard, chairside, with different procedures, always attentive to their patient’s comfort. She also takes X-rays, handles lab work, and provides direct patient care.
Sara’s favorite hobbies, when she’s not at the office, including hiking and being outdoors, origami, drawing, crafts, and running 5 and 10K races. She also loves attending Colorado Eagles hockey games and treasures time with Chong, her sweet chinchilla.
Kaitlyn enjoys getting to know our patients personally, and seeing how a new smile can transform their lives. She has been with us since 2018. Working at the front desk, Kaitlyn welcomes and checks patients in, schedules appointments, and will work with you to make sure insurance billing and claims run smoothly and help you get the most benefits possible.
Kaitlyn loves to spend her free time with her husband, friends, and family exploring all the great Colorado outdoors has to offer.
Emma enjoys meeting and getting to know each patient and making sure every they have is great.
She has been with us since December 2021. Emma works both at the front desk, and in our lab helping out with digital dentistry. She works with our 3D printer, printing and finishing all the teeth for our Teeth in a Day cases!
When not in the office Emma loves to spend her time boating with her friends and family.
Alexis enjoys establishing a relationship with patients and help them achieve and maintain the healthiest oral condition possible. She joined our practice in 2024, and holds an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Hawkeye Community College in Iowa.
Working with her patients, Alexis will perform dental cleanings, assess oral health, and treat and prevent periodontal disease. She encourages patients to make positive changes in their dental hygiene practices to improve the health of their smiles.
When not at the office Alexis enjoys traveling and taking care of her 3 dogs, chickens, and ducks.
