"Top notch and very caring"

A+++++ This team is the best of the best! The Top Gun of cosmetic dentistry.

Deborah D.

My wife and I both went to the Center for major oral surgery and implants. We chose this Center, due to their incredible 5-star reviews! This is the most talented, responsive, punctual, caring medical team ever assembled.  Dr. Howard is simply the best, and his team is an expanded version of himself.

The first thing that impressed me was the thoroughness and honesty I received. They didn't sugarcoat my situation but offered very friendly support for whichever option I chose. They not only remember who I am, but also show genuine interest in me as a person. It is obvious when I go there that they have already reviewed my records and are up to date on my situation and concerns. The technical results of the dental work I have had done have been more than I even hoped for -- really a life altering experience.

HIGHLIGHTED TREATMENT

All-on-X

Who is a Good Candidate for All-on-X Dental Implants?

  • Many missing teeth or no teeth at all.
  • Severe gum disease causing loose teeth.
  • Multiple decayed or broken teeth.

What Are All-on-X Dental Implants?

All-on-X replaces all teeth in the upper or lower jaw (or both) with a set of natural-looking artificial teeth. Four to six implants per jaw are used to support a full set of teeth, avoiding the need for extensive bone grafting. Dr. Howard at The Center for Advanced Dentistry uses advanced technology and surgical techniques for long lasting and beautiful results.

What Are All-on-X Dental Implants?

  • Your new smile is digitally designed prior to surgery.
  • Any remaining faulty teeth are removed under sedation.
  • 4-6 implants are placed in the jawbone.
  • A temporary dental bridge (12-14 teeth) is 3-D printed and attached on the implants while you’re still asleep.
  • After three months of healing, a permanent bridge is installed. Bridge that has been fine-tuned to your appearance and desires is installed.

How Long Does the Procedure Take?

The surgery takes about 2-3 hours per jaw (up to 4 hours for both). After surgery, a temporary set of fixed teeth is attached the same day. Three months later, permanent porcelain or zirconia teeth replace the temporary ones. Our process provides a streamlined procedure and quick recovery so you can resume daily life soon.

Is the Procedure Uncomfortable?

Discomfort is mild to moderate and managed with over-the-counter pain relievers like Ibuprofen for 3-5 days. Stronger medication may be needed occasionally. By day four, discomfort and swelling improve significantly. The Center for Advanced Dentistry offers anesthesia options to keep you comfortable.

Anesthesia Options

  • General Anesthesia: You're fully asleep with a breathing tube and monitored by an anesthesiologist.
  • IV Sedation/Twilight Sleep: You're asleep but breathe on your own without a tube.
  • Local Anesthesia: You're awake, but the area is numbed, feeling only pressure.

We aim to make your experience comfortable. Schedule a free consultation to discuss options.

Advanced Technology for All-on-X
